Zayed Sustainability Award 2027 Pitch

Princeton Institute Mutare presents its pitch for the Zayed Sustainability Prize 2027, Global High Schools category. The EcoCredit Schools project is a student-led circular economy initiative that turns recyclable waste such as plastic, aluminium cans, and glass into education-linked value. Through the project, learners, schools, households, and surrounding communities are encouraged to collect and separate recyclable waste, which can then be converted into EcoCredit rewards to support school-related needs. EcoCredit Schools aims to reduce waste pollution, promote environmental responsibility, support climate action, and inspire young people in Zimbabwe to use innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship to solve real community challenges.
