Tauhu Sambal | Spicy Tofu Sambal - How to make Tofu Gravy in Malay (Taukang Sambal)

Thanks for watching and remember to subscribe:    / @sirukkansirukkis   //English Recipe for Tofu Sambal Ingredients: Tofu – 4 Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp Salt – to taste Onion – 1 bulb (sliced) Curry Leaves – a handful Ginger & Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp Tomato – 1 (diced) Chili Paste – 5-6 tbsp Water – little Method: 1)First, cut the tofu into 2 pieces & marinate them with turmeric powder & salt. Let it rest for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, in a pan with medium flame, heat up oil & fry the marinated tofu till crispy. Keep aside. 2) In the same pan, reduce some oil. Add in sliced onion & curry leaves. Sauté till onions soft. Once soft, add in ginger & garlic paste. Sauté again. 3) Then, add diced tomatoes & sauté till tomatoes soft. Once soft, add in chili paste & mix. Then, add salt & mix again. Let it cook till oil separates. Once separates, add little water.
