The Fisch family in Indonesia, a two-month backpacker family trip through Sumatra and Java, summer 2024. 🌴✈️ Travel to Pulau Weh by ferry, a small volcanic island located about thirty kilometers from Banda Aceh, northwest of Sumatra. 🌋 A thought for the city of Banda Aceh, which suffered a devastating tsunami in December 2004. A tribute to the victims is paid in the Aceh Tsunami Museum built in the city. 🕊️ Arriving on the island of Pulau Weh, we set off as usual, three of us on a scooter with our three backpacks...🛵 The following days will introduce us to snorkeling dives that will remain forever etched in our minds: turtles, sharks, moray eels, rays...🐢🐠 The tour of the island will take us to kilometer 0 of Indonesia, the westernmost point.
