In Depth Look At Old Dominion Triple Chime Bracket Clock

What’s up, everybody! Today we are looking at my beautiful old dominion triple chime mantel clock. I got this from my grandparents in December 2025. The clock itself was functioning properly, but the chime hammers were so gunky that they wouldn’t make contact with the rods. This needed to be fixed. On top of that, the case was so unstable that it was too dangerous to hold it by its handle. It literally looked like it was about to come to pieces. Fortunately, my dad took the clock apart and fixed it up with hot glue. The case was good as new! As for the chimes, me and my dad took each individual hammer out of its place and cleaned them up with oil and rags. It took only 3 days to get all 8 chime hammers back up to their normal part in the clock. Unfortunately, during the repair process, the chime sequence got out of order, which is why the clock isn’t chiming it’s correct melody 🤦‍♀️
