Removing my first sample weave from my 80cm Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom
Let's remove my sample piece from the loom. I have really enjoyed playing with various different techniques on this sampler. I warped approximately 4m using a chunky acrylic yarn I had in my stash. I used the 7.5 dent reed that came with the 80cm Rigid Heddle Loom. One thing that concerned me was the plastic ties joining the tie rods to the front and back beams have started to "crack" after just one use. Is this normal? I can't wait to get the next project warped up. I'll probably use some of my own #2dye4 hand-dyed wool for that. @AshfordNz 80cm Rigid Heddle Loom purchased from Wool Craft SA in Kommetjie, Cape Town, South Africa. #rigidheddleloomweaving
