What is a Boolean In Studio 5000 | XIC instruction & XIO instruction tutorial | Batching PLC Day-18
A boolean is used in any computer language & is either a value of 1 or 0. In Studio 5000 software, booleans are used on a tag-based system for system controls. The computing of any kind uses a transition of a one or zero value to indicate the next step in the process they are running. In Studio 5000 made by Rockwell Automation, this is made extra simple because you can see the transition using ladder logic. Ladder logic is one of the four plc programming languages, all fours are listed. ✔ Ladder Logic ✔ Function Block ✔ Sequential Function Chart ✔ Structure Text This is video 18 in our new Batching Station plc training so if you want to learn PLC programming & HMI programming, go ahead & join us by watching this great playlist.
