Make Beautiful Joomchi Wall Art using Mulberry Paper and Powertex!
Joomchi is a 500 year old Korean art form using mulberry (Hanji) paper to create and sculpt an organic piece of artwork. The tradition is felting the paper with methods such as rolling in bubble wrap, plastic wrap, a sushi mat, and using your hands to create a strong piece that feels like fabric. Powertex, a little paint, collage and a part of my mixed media collection is added to finish the piece!
