Overhead hose carriage / trolley for greenhouse watering

Here's a quick tour of and overhead carriage system I built to deploy and collect watering hose in our seedling greenhouse here at Tourne-Sol co-operative farm. It's been in service for several years now and we're very fond of it. The carriage is made out of rail and carrier cars from the world of industrial strut, aka Unistrut, aka Cantruss and various other names. I ultimately found the AnvilStrut brand cheapest locally with 20' galvanized lengths costing about $40 each. Rolling carriage trolleys/cars came from McMaster Carr at about $10 each and a trio of track splices added another $30. With 120' of brand new hose the total project budge was about $400 CDN in 2014 but ultimately we used a hose we already had and saved $100. 80' of track centered in our 96' greenhouse work fine and allows us to reach every corner.
