Noken Live - The St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Elelim, Yalimo Regency, represented by Parish Priest Aventus Jenovo, OFM, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Yalimo Regency Government for its continued attention and support for the Catholic Church in the region. Father Aventus explained that the Yalimo Regency Government routinely provides religious grants annually. In 2026, the government also provided assistance for the rehabilitation of the church and the construction of four public toilets (MCK) units within the church grounds. He stated that this assistance is a demonstration of the government's concern for which the congregation is deeply grateful.
