Martha Medeiros is from Rio Grande do Sul, a former publicist, and a highly successful writer throughout Brazil. She's launching her 26th book, "Who Would Have Thought Life Would Lead to This?" She has two daughters and has sold over a million books. She writes weekly for O Globo and Zero Hora. She began with her poetry collection, and several of her books have been adapted for the stage, including "Doidas e Santas," "Happy for Nothing," "Tudo que eu quer dizer," and "Divã," which has already become a play, a film, and a TV series. You just wrote your first screenplay. And you're thinking about writing a special play for the stage. Martha says she's a centralizer because, besides being a writer, she's also her own secretary and a housewife, living life without barriers.
