Samifer- Dark Paradise

Yes, this is a very over-used song, but it fits the whole Hallucifer situation so well I couldn't resist. So basically this fits in with my opinions the Hallucifer is basically supposed to be like one of those storylines you see in loads of shows, where a loved one dies and another character keeps seeing them everywhere. Hallucifer never seemed like just a simple tormentor to me, more of a guilt-driven, self-inflicted illusion caused by Sam's own mind, basically imagining Lucifer to be angry at himself because that's what he thinks he deserves. The main line in the song that really did it for me was the whole "I'm scared that you won't be waiting on the other side" thing, because a lot of people seem to ignore how suicidal Sam was when seeing Lucifer, but not to get away from him, as Hallucifer actively tells him to kill himself. And if Sam dies, in all likelihood, he's going to go to Hell, aka, back to Lucifer, and I think in a weird way that's what he wants. ...this video description wasn't supposed to turn into an analysis.
