This concert was performed under the auspices of Music Club, Madras, on the 21st of January, 1970. This is possibly one of the earliest solo concert recordings of Sri DKJ that we have come across, as yet. This concert is made even more superlative by Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman on the violin and Sri Palghat Mani Iyer on the mridangam.
