NI Water Announces £6.5m Water upgrade at Caugh Hill, Feeny
NI Water has announced that a £6.5m programme of improvements at Caugh Hill Water Treatment Works (WTW) is underway. Once complete, the investment will help benefit approximately 60,000 customers in Feeny, Limavady, Dungiven and the wider surrounding areas by enhancing drinking water quality, as well as the security of the local water supply. The significant programme of work, which is taking place within the site of Caugh Hill Water Treatment Works, will involve upgrading many assets whilst maintaining live operation within the existing Water Treatment Works – such as replacing new pipework and upsizing essential pumps.
