Location: near 313 9th Street and Riceville High School System: Mitchell County Testing schedule: Saturdays at 11 AM Testing time: 11:00 AM (on time) Cycle when tested: 1-3 minute alert Cameras used: Sony CyberShot DSC-HX400V (tight shot), Canon PowerShot SX540HS (wide shot & audio) Recording distance from siren: ~155-160 feet Loudness: Extremely loud Temperature: 61°F Other enthusiasts present: Connor (‪@Thunderbolt1000Tfan‬ ), Dylan (‪@xXSo1arGamingXx‬ ) Other notes: Ended our 2024 SirenCon trip the same way we did in 2022, except this time Riceville actually went off. This was surprisingly loud despite sounding like ass. Much louder than the 1000T in Atlantic from the day prior as a matter of fact. I decided to set up right in front of the horn because no one else has done it before and it's kinda funny.
