We Leave Halifax with a stop in Lunenberg, only to run into Hurricane Nestor in Shelburne Harbour where our 55 lb rocna anchor tried to re-set and we were forced to drive the boat into the storm in a very real fight for our lives... In August of 2017 I sold everything and moved aboard Balachandra, a 1986 C&C44 sailboat, then sailed it over 300 nautical miles to Halifax Nova Scotia to spend a cold Canadian winter in the frozen waters of the North Atlantic.
