No Olho do Furacão | Conexão Repórter (06/07/20)
Conexão Repórter presents an exclusive interview with Frederick Wassef. Facing Roberto Cabrini, he answers the toughest questions in a frank two-hour interview, recorded this Sunday in three different locations while maintaining proper social distancing. Wassef meets Cabrini in the Morumbi neighborhood of São Paulo and agrees to take the journalist to his residence-office in Atibaia, where Fabrício Queiroz was found and arrested by police on June 18th. Along the way, he reveals the circumstances under which he sheltered the former parliamentary aide of then-state deputy Flávio Bolsonaro. Wassef shows Cabrini the now controversial property, while explaining how he allowed Queiroz to frequent at least two addresses in his name, as Wassef himself admits in the interview – in addition to the house in Atibaia, 60 km from the São Paulo capital, an apartment on the coast. Later that Sunday evening, at a hotel in Atibaia, Wassef is interviewed by Cabrini. He talks about his relationship with President Jair Bolsonaro, which is thoroughly examined in a conversation with several heated moments. The journalist also addresses other sensitive issues that sometimes irritate the lawyer, but bring revelations and confessions.
