Pre-winter work on Chokeberry
Up this week on Shady Bonsai we look at another Aronia. Specifically, Aronia melanocarpa 'morton' a.k.a. Chokeberry. It is time to make the major structural cuts that will set a course for the branches to come. Branch development will begin in the spring of 2026. I will also be looking at how this species overwinters in my set-up. This is my second Aronia so we're calling it Aronia #2.
