R.W. Hampton Performs "The Master's Call" at the 2020 National Cowboy Poetry Gathering
R.W. Hampton sings "The Master's Call," a Marty Robbins song, at the 36th Gathering. This performance is from the "Tribute to Don Edwards" show on January 31, 2020 - the full show is available to Western Folklife Center members only, so go to www.westernfolklife.org and join now! R. W. Hampton has lived and worked on ranches throughout the West, as well as performing traditional and original cowboy songs. He and his family live at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains south of Cimarron, New Mexico. In 2011, R.W. was inducted into the Western Music Association's Hall of Fame.
