React From Another Universe - David Sancho Moreno
React From Another Universe React introduced a generation of developers to functional programming. For me, it was the start of an obsession that sent me down the rabbit hole of learning a new paradigm, working with different languages (elm/ReasonML/OCaml), shipping a few compilers, implementing a type system, and eventually reimplementing React. In this talk, I'll share the insights that transformed me from someone who uses React to someone who understands why it works—and how to apply those principles far beyond React itself. I promise I won't go deeply into algebraic effects.
