Whelp, I read Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and liked it pretty well, so I thought I would have the same reaction to book 2 in the Empyrean series: Iron Flame… but BOY was I wrong! This book was SUCH a disappointment! It was so frustrating in its inconsistencies and lack of follow-through. I really did want to like this series… but I’m starting to think the haters were right.
