Climbing Kedar Dome (6,831 m) in the Garhwal Himalayas in India. Solitude in one of the most beautiful mountain regions in the world. Pure nature. Dangerous ascent to base camp due to very loose scree. My highest mountain to date. At the top, I was overcome by fatigue and really had to push myself to walk the last 20 metres. But the view rewarded us. We could see Meru (6,660 m), Shivling (6,543 m), Kedarnath (6,940 m) and Bhagirathi II Peak (6,512 m).
