Part 1. Mercedes ASR problem, showing symptoms of bad throttle body and removal procedure

Part 1. www.RestoreYourMercedes.com Here we have 1995 Mercedes SL500 with bad throttle body. This car has more unusual throttle body failure than regular ASR problem. Here car idles fine and throttle body hums and reacts to throttle pedal but engine RPMs drop down when accelerating. Also, FUel Safety Cutoff code is present. Wires inside throttle bady are bad and will replace them and install throttle body back into the car in later videos. In following videos I show how to remove throttle body from V8 Mercedes found in 400E, E420, 400SEL, S420, 500SEL, S500, 500SL and SL500.
