The Photo I Almost Deleted (It changed everything)

After almost a year away from astrophotography, I finally made it back out into the desert under the Milky Way. This night didn’t go the way I expected. Between rust, fatigue, equipment issues, and second-guessing every composition, it was a humbling return. I didn’t come home with a technically “perfect” image. But I did come home with something that meant more than I anticipated. In this video, I reflect on what it feels like to step back into a creative space after time away — and what happens when you stop chasing other people’s standards and start trusting your own eye. If you’ve ever doubted your work, compared yourself to others, or struggled to feel proud of something that doesn’t fit the mold, this one’s for you. Thanks for being here. I really appreciate you. 📍 Filmed in Death Valley, California 🌌 Astrophotography • Night Photography • Creative Process If you enjoyed this, feel free to like the video and subscribe for more desert nights, honest storytelling, and behind-the-scenes photography journeys. #Astrophotography #NightPhotography #MilkyWay #CreativeProcess #PhotographyJourney #DesertPhotography #FindingYourStyle #TrustYourEye #BehindTheScenes
