Moi's support in development of Nyayo, Kasarani stadia
The late former President Moi has been a great lover and influencer to the development of sports in the country, and he initiated building of two international stadia, namely, Nyayo national Stadium and the Kasarani Stadium. He was also instrumental in pushing for Kenya to be awarded 4th All Africa games hosting rights in 1987 despite hard economic times.
