Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway | Cotswold Festival of Steam - 2025. All footage filmed on 25/05/25 and released on 26/05/25. The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire were holding their annual Cotswold Festival of Steam gala on the second bank holiday weekend in May featuring many visiting engines and the GWSR’s own locos. This year the event had 6 visitors and 5 members of the home fleet in operation. One of the Visitors was meant to be 34092 City of Well but was replaced by 34072 257 Squadron which was also replaced at the last minute by GWR pannier Tank 7714 due to issues. The home fleet saw 6880 Betton Grange making its first appearance as an official member of the GWSR home fleet. I attended the gala on the Sunday and it was windy and trains were really late but despite that it was a really good event. Thanks for the company of ‪@MaximumPressureSteam‬ throughout the day.
