How to Cut Axle Splines on a SAJO Indexing Head
To cut 22 splines requires 1 full turn and 81 holes on the 99 hole ring. The math works out to be 40/22 = 1 18/22 = 1 9/11. Find a ring on the index head that is a multiple of 11 - 99 in my case. So 11 needs to be multiplied by 9 as well as 9, which equals 81. That's how you get 1 full turn plus 81 holes on the 99 hole ring.
