After descending into the caverns, I spend the day exploring massive chambers, stalactites, stalagmites, and the unique underground formations that make this park so famous. After leaving the caves, I head south toward Guadalupe Mountains National Park, but stop short for the night to find a remote BLM campsite in the desert. I settle in, enjoy the silence, cook dinner, and relax under a wide-open sky. The next morning, I continue on to Guadalupe Mountains National Park and hike the Devil’s Hall Trail, a rugged route through a desert canyon that follows a dry wash, includes light scrambling over rocks, and ends at a narrow limestone corridor carved by flash floods. The park is also home to Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas at 8,751 feet. 🔔 Subscribe for weekly adventures! 💬 Leave a comment below: Always open to feedback and recommendations on new places to explore!
