🇵🇱 This Wasn't the Part of Augustów I Expected to See

We have come to the northeast part of Poland on a little adventure. Join me as I explore Augustów from the train station, which feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, along the forest road to get to the center of the city. We will walk along Main Street, look at the canals, pay our respects to the Minor Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and try two different restaurants in our search for the best pierogi in town. We'll finish up our walking tour and travel vlog by venturing into the old cemetery, which features a Soviet war memorial, a Jewish memorial, and graves from the community. Our walk will conclude with time spent in the water and along the path that lines the canal. Let me know in the comments if you have ever visited this part of Poland or intend to. Did I give you some good ideas on places to see or things to do, and did I miss anything that needs to be seen on a return trip? 00:00 Augustów train station 00:33 Walk to the center 03:30 Listopada / Route 16 04:40 Canal 06:28 Maja 09:10 Minor Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus 11:38 Mostowa 13:00 Side streets and waterfront 16:00 Rynek Zygmunta Augusta 18:40 Lunch - Pierogi 20:55 Cemetery - Catholic, Soviet War Memorial, Jewish Memorial 28:37 Waterfront 32:39 Canal area and Bulwar Narodów Unii Europejskiej 38:35 Pierogi take 2 Dinner #polska #poland #augustów #travelvogger #travel #polandtravel #walkingtour
