Use of Assessment Tools: Ecomap

Ecomap is advantageous in providing a visual simulation of connections between a client and his/her environment, its ability to demonstrate the flow of energy into and from the client, and its depiction of nurturing as well as conflicted relationships. It allows the worker to focus on transactional issues while aiding the worker in determining the resources and interventions necessary for resolution of many family and individual stressors.
