Outkast winning Best New Rap Group at the Source Awards 1995

An excerpt from the VH1 documentary 'ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta's Rise in the Rap Game' (2014). Outkast is being booed by the audience at the infamous Source Awards of 1995, being a southern rap group in the middle of the ongoing West Coast-East Coast rivalry. Then the hiphop legend who goes by the name of Andre 3000 steps up telling the crowd: 'But it's like this though, I'm tired of them closed minded folks, it's like we gotta demo tape but don't nobody want to hear it. But it's like this: the South got something to say, that's all I got to say.' I do not own the rights to this documentary, I am just a big fan; that's all I got to say.
