Did you catch me on Fox 11 News? If not, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered. I had the privilege of speaking with Phil Shuman about my campaign and even had the chance to introduce the traffic report. I’m passionate about discussing the City Attorney’s Office because I believe it has the potential to significantly uplift the people of L.A. and create a more equitable city for everyone. Electing city leaders who are experienced and understand the responsibilities of the job is crucial. It helps us save money by avoiding lawsuits caused by incompetence and unethical behavior. Instead of serving political interests, we can use city resources to protect the most vulnerable, unlike what we’ve seen from our last two City Attorneys. Hydee, our current City Attorney, isn’t the first to be embroiled in scandal. Mike Feuer also misled investigators during the DWP scandal. Both lacked experience in criminal justice yet managed an office responsible for prosecuting all of L.A.’s misdemeanors, which constitutes 34% of the staff’s duties. I am the only candidate offering the diverse experience required for this role, with expertise in both criminal and civil litigation. I want to bring my experience and integrity to build an office centered on fairness and ethics.
