Hababam Class is a film series adapted from Rıfat Ilgaz's Hababam Class book series. The first film in the series, Hababam Class, was made in 1975. Mahmut Hoca (aka Bald Mahmut), the newly appointed deputy principal and history teacher at Özel Çamlıca High School, tries to discipline the 6th Literature B class (aka Hababam Class), full of students who cheat, skip school to go to football matches, and constantly tease their teachers, using unusual punishment methods. However, serious events also occur alongside the students' mischief.
