13. Dr. Case's Pavan - John Dowland 400th Anniversary Collection, 2026

This collection celebrates the works of John Dowland, (1563–1626) marking in 2026 the 400th anniversary of his death. Dowland was a renowned English lutenist and composer whose music continues to resonate across the centuries. His songs remain timeless, and his most famous lute solo, the Lachrimae, is admired today just as it was 400 years ago. The pieces in this collection range from private manuscripts to formal songbooks, all selected with the aim of working as closely to Dowland’s own intentions as possible.
