The PB-16 Ultra is easily the most incredible subwoofer I've ever heard. This subwoofer delivers ultra deep, yet well balanced bass that is extremely clean, and surprisingly comfortable on the ears. Very enjoyable, startling, and a true blast to listen to! GOTTA HAVE 2!! If bass is important enough to you that you would spend $2,500 on a subwoofer, you really should be going dual, even if it means splitting your budget for dual PB-12 Plus. As outstanding as the PB-16 Ultra is, Dual PB-12 Plus would be my choice 100% rather than a single. I've been very consistent on that. Duals are everything.
