1989 Honda NX250 - A Dual Sport That Still Contends With Modern Bikes

On this episode, you are introduced to my 1989 Honda NX250, a bike that some say was a dual sport that was well ahead of its time. This bike is light weight, water cooled, and puts out nearly 26 hp. For a bike this age, those are numbers that still hold up with present day Hondas. This bike, however, is not a runner and needs some major work. In the first of 3 episodes, we will be tearing it down, working on the cosmetics, and figuring out if what all we will need to work on. As it turns out, the carburetor ended up being the main culprit for issues down the road... but I still had lots to learn before I came to that conclusion.
