Now I’m trying to make the book that tells that whole story — and it turns out this is where things get hard. In this episode, I start working through the reality of making the biggest book I’ve ever attempted. Sizes, page counts, paper, printing costs, and all the decisions that suddenly make a lifetime of drawing feel… overwhelming. I reach out to printers, compare options, get lost in samples, and realize that progress doesn’t come from motivation — it comes from committing to decisions. This video is part of a series where I’m documenting the entire process of making this book. Planning it, designing it, funding it, producing it, and hopefully actually finishing it.
