Combining our years of research experience in electrochemical energy storage and water treatment technologies, and leveraging the recent advancements in materials science and battery technology, we developed a desalination technology that can revolutionize the existing landscape. In the Gadgil lab for energy and water research at UC Berkeley, we are relentlessly working to develop an electrified, modular, and autonomous brackish water desalination technology that can achieve high water recovery and offer low-energy costs for desalination of low-salinity water sources.
