Marilyn Martin - Through His Eyes (Music Video, 1995)

The music video for Marilyn Martin's single Through His Eyes, a song written by Jeff Pennig and Jess Brown, and produced by Don Potter, with additional production from Greg Droman. As Martin began to work on a third pop album to follow up her 1988 album This Is Serious, the head of Atlantic Records, Doug Morris, suggested Martin change musical direction and record a country album. An album was recorded in Nashville in 1994 and "Through His Eyes" was released as a promotional single at the beginning of 1995. It achieved some play on country radio, but failed to meet Atlantic's expectations. The label decided to shelve Martin's country album, which in recent years has been made available through Martin's official website. The music video was directed by Martin Kahan and produced by Venetia Mayhew. It gained some play on Country Music Television (CMT) and the Nashville Network (TNN). The video was previously on YouTube. I downloaded it at the time and seeing that the original upload is no longer available, I thought it was worth putting up again.
