Odc. 18 - Jak płynęliśmy z delfinami na Poros, do Russian Bay i na Agistri

In this episode, we leave Ermioni, a charming town in the Peloponnese with a typically Greek atmosphere, and head towards the islands, Poros and Agistri. Right after leaving the port of Limani, we met dolphins. They were swimming close to the yacht, ignoring us. It was a very successful day, dolphins and great sailing conditions, good wind, beautiful weather. On the island of Poros we touched the Russian Bay. It is an extremely charming place and an anchorage where yachts often spend the night. On the way, we passed the small island of Daskalio, on which stands the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Baptisms are often held here, and since the shape of the island slightly resembles a heart, many want to get married here. The bay was given the Russian name because the ruins of the Russian navy base are located here. In the 19th century, the Russian fleet supported the Greeks in their struggle for independence, and this is where the barracks were located. From Poros we sailed to Agistri, an island neighboring Aegina. We passed the islet of Dorousa, where the wreckage of the ship Avantis III, sunk in 2004, is underwater and reached the port of Megalochori. Megalochori, also called Milos, is the capital of the island. It is a very peaceful and authentic place.
