Now its 2020, and the 372 was discontinued...and then re-instated for 2021 ... maybe a redux is appropriate This video has a LOT of stuff, I had forgotten we were this far along way back then. Covers some basic cylinder nods, and the no base gasket modification. But also covers WHY the better squish band numbers matter. Not sure that was covered on YouTube in a meaningful way. A GOOD review even to the experienced, and part 1 of this series is also chock full of Jonsered / Husqvarna trivia. Covers MOST of the difference between the Orange and Red saw offerings based on the Husqvarna 372 chassis. There is ONE part that we missed that is different between Jonsered and Husqvarna 372/2171's one part. And it can be a real Pita!! That is the level the chain brake handle slides on to.....the 372 version part number ends with a "1" (537008701 ) the Jonsered a "2" (537008702) and the angle is different to where they will NOT inter change. Can't put the Husqvarna chain brake handle on the Jonsered spec lever, and visa versa.
