Picca e Picca is a musical duo formed by Japanese couple Ryo and Noriko Yamada, based in the Netherlands. They share Japanese pop music with the world through original arrangements and improvisation. Ryo is a versatile pianist with a background in classical music, contemporary music, and jazz, with improvisation at the heart of his playing. Noriko moves audiences with her warm, powerful voice and impressive vocal range. Based in the Netherlands, they perform at concerts and events, sharing the beauty of Japanese music across borders. In their live performances, Ryo creates spontaneous improvisations inspired by the atmosphere of the moment, while Noriko responds through her singing, weaving the music together in real time.
