Power chords are VERY popular in rock music and there are also some cool percussive and strumming things that you can do to with these nifty chords. Now there are a few open power chords that you can play with only one finger, most power chords you can play with two fingers and if you want a fuller sound, you can play your power chords on guitar with 3 fingers. I am going to show you options for all of these different types of power chords, but the most common way to play them is with 2 or 3 fingers. So let’s get into the different power chord shapes and how we can use these to play music.
