Rattlesnake Gulch (The hard way to Toquerville Falls) - La Verkin, UT

Toquerville Falls is a popular destination in southwest Utah. There is a rough road (most any truck or SUV could make it) that leads to the falls from Toquerville, but the really fun way to get there is this beautiful trail that heads up from La Verkin. The time spent traversing dusty desert trail (still gorgeous) is handsomely rewarded with one of the wettest trails you'll find in the Southwest. This way is going to require a well equipped rig and a reasonably experienced driver. Recovery equipment is also a must have. Depending on the water level, this trail can get pretty gnarly. Our friends Alysabeth (@res68rockin4lo on TikTok) and Chad & Christine (@xtineandrews on TikTok) joined us to spend the day away from the craziness that is Trail Hero. Being October, the water level was pretty low. Regardless, this trail will test your ability as only wet rocks can. Don't be surprised if something that seems simple trips you up.
