a verona day trip from northern italy

ok verona. i did NOT expect to love this city as much as i did?? it's only like 2.5 hours from modena so i just hopped on a train one morning with zero plans and decided to go. the streets are so pretty and it's not as packed as rome or florence which i appreciated. the views over the city are so beautiful and i coulda easily stayed another hour there. the only thing was… it felt a bit dirty. like the streets weren’t the cleanest. it's very much a day trip city so i was back home by evening but it felt like a full adventure. if you're in northern italy, it’s definitely worth a visit. ------------------------------------------------ things to do in verona: · the roman arena (get there early) · juliet's house - touristy, i wasn’t able to see it but lots of people loved it · ponte pietra for the views !!!!!!!! · just walk along the adige river · aperitivo on piazza bra (didn’t do, but looked incredible) · enjoying the view of the city of castel san pietro ------------------------------------------------ music:   / coverband123     / bbabym   ------------------------------------------------ verona italy vlog | day trip to verona | northern italy travel | verona travel guide | solo travel italy | italy coop abroad | university student in italy | slow travel europe | cinematic italy vlog | things to do in verona | european summer vlog | soft travel aesthetic | italy day trip ideas
