Today is an ordinary morning near my home in Hanoi, Vietnam. I started the morning with a slow walk around Hoang Cau Lake, a small lake not far from my home. The weather was cloudy, there was almost no strong sunlight, and the morning felt quiet and soft. After walking and sitting on a bench for a few minutes, I bought some bread for breakfast, picked up my wife after our daughter’s parent meeting, and went back home. At home, I took a quick shower, prepared a simple breakfast with bread, yogurt, and coldbrew mixed with homemade apricot syrup, then folded clothes and cleaned the room.
