Gelombang Tinggi, Nelayan di Kota Gorontalo Tidak Bisa Melaut

GORONTALO CITY, KOMPAS.TV - Strong winds that have battered the waters of Gorontalo for nearly two weeks have triggered high waves in several coastal areas. This has forced many fishermen to temporarily halt fishing activities to avoid the risk of accidents at sea. Several boats were parked on the shore, with some even being pulled ashore to avoid being buffeted by the waves. One fisherman stated that the southeast wind season has forced some fishermen to move to Central Sulawesi waters, which are considered safer for fishing. Fishermen estimate that these high wave conditions could persist for the next few months, so they can only hope that the weather will improve soon so that fishing activities can return to normal.
