After some early-morning plane spotting at Dublin Airport (DUB), I boarded EI-DVH for this 3.5-hour flight. We pushed back from the gate right on schedule and taxied out with beautiful Irish morning light reflecting off the aircraft wings. The takeoff from Runway 10R offered amazing views over Dublin Bay before we headed south towards the coast of Portugal and then into Morocco. The cruise was smooth with clear views across the Atlantic corridor. As we approached Morocco, the scenery shifted dramatically — from the deep blue waters to the warm tones of the desert and the red-earth landscape surrounding Marrakesh. Onboard service included Aer Lingus’ buy-on-board menu, with options for snacks, hot meals, and drinks. I tried one of their light options, and it was exactly what I needed for a short-haul flight. Crew was friendly, professional, and kept the cabin running smoothly throughout. The descent into Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) was breathtaking — golden desert colours, distant mountain silhouettes, and a perfectly smooth touchdown to wrap up this enjoyable flight.
