Burying the Water Line From My Hand-Dug Well — Getting Close

After digging this well entirely by hand to 39 feet and installing the casing, the next step was making it permanent. In this video, I bury the water line, run electrical conduit for the well pump, and begin restoring the ground around the well. This is the transition from an open excavation to a finished, working well system. After months of digging through rock and glacial debris, everything is finally coming together.
