Story Teller Part 7: The Billy Goats Gruff (Magazine & Tape)

WHAT IS THIS STORY ABOUT? The Billy Goats Gruff: One by one, the goats set off for the summer pastures. But a hungry troll is lying in wait as they clatter across the one and only bridge. Artist Malcolm Livingstone brings his inimitable style of illustration to this favourite story. Narrated by Nigel Pegram. Music composed by Norman Candler. WHAT IS STORY TELLER? Story Teller was a series of magazines published by Marshall Cavendish from December 1982 and throughout 1983 as a fortnightly part-work. Each magazine contained a selection of children's stories from traditional folk tales to contemporary works written especially for the series. It also included poems. The stories were accompanied by lavish colour artwork and an audio cassette tape featuring music, sound effects and narration by professional actors and celebrities of the time, including Richard Briers, Sheila Hancock, Derek Jacobi, and Nigel Lambert. Digitisation, restoration and video production by Darren J Prescott for Story Teller TV. A Neon Dreamstar production.
