Raça Caprina PARDA SERTANEJA Leiteira e Rústica Série CRIAÇÃO #06

The Parda Sertaneja is a naturalized goat breed, formed over many years of adaptation to the climate of the northeastern hinterland. The name was given by the hinterland dweller and researcher Manelito Alves, one of the main people responsible for preserving and developing this important genetic makeup. Adriano Suassuna and Manelito sought out remnants of these animals at fairs in the hinterland to form the initial herd, which began with only six females. The objective of this work was to create a dual-purpose animal (meat and milk) that could produce satisfactorily even in the extreme conditions of the Paraíba hinterland.
